How do i remove myself from my family account? I am the only member

A microsoft support website said to click the three dots next to my name and remove myself. Apparently the three dots should be at the top right corner of the box, but i don't see them there when I check the family safety homepage. How do I remove myself?

To remove yourself from a family group
Using a web browser, sign in to family.microsoft.com.
Click next to your name and select Leave family group.
Select Remove to confirm.

Also if i remove myself from the family account (even though ive already been removed from it) Will i lose my gold membership even though it was purchased separately from the pack?

i logged into my account on your first link it shows me and my son in two boxes i click on his profile to remove him it says i'm not the person that added him - the only option it shows on my profile is to remove myself from the family group is that what u mean (as i am logged in on my account) Wont he lose his consent to access stuff if remove myself from the family group?
