    How do I REMOVE FOLLOWERS?


    How do I remove followers? Blocking them doesn't even work which is SO STUPID!!! I don't wish to be "followed" by anyone I'm not friends with and this "feature" is terribly disgusting to me. I hate that I'm forced to endure this because Microsoft is so ridiculously bad at designing these things (the UI is absolutely horrible at least). This is a gaming machine first and foremost, and it should only be that. Not some forced attempt at social media. I've made my entire profile blocked to everyone because I hate it that much.

    And somehow my gamertag is displaying as "" despite the fact this hasn't been my gamertag in several years... why is Microsoft so bad at this.

    This is a total waste of time, people have been asking for the ability to do this for years. And you used to be able to, but they removed the option. It's obvious Microsoft is incapable of listening to feedback if it goes against their ideas/goals. Waste of time.

    How do I remove blocked followers?

    Hi JNL27, thanks for your question. I'm happy to help.

    While you cannot completely turn off followers, you can adjust your 'Privacy Settings' to set the amount of info you would like shared with your followers.

    Just navigate to Settings>Privacy & online safety>select custom, and make the desired changes their. In the end, you can have it set so nobody can see anything about you.

    Unfortunately, there is no set way to remove followers from your list. The "Block unblock" method has been reported to work, but its nothing official.

    You won't get banned, as you have done nothing wrong. You can block & report each one, or leave them. It won't affect your account.
