How do I remove all the annoying additions to the dashboard?

"unfortunately it is not possible to remove it, at least not until the next update."

This new AD Dashboard was introduced to Insiders last September 2022 and had numerous updates and complaints over the testing phase. +-90% of Insiders gave NEGATIVE feedback. None of the feedback was listened to or acknowledged.

Good luck waiting for an update that returns the previous functionality of customising YOUR personal Home page and Dashboard.

There wasn't even a reason stated by Microsoft / Xbox why THEIR dashboard is better setup than how YOUR personal dashboard is setup.

How many games do Xbox expect you to buy in the course of 12 months?

How many games do they expect children will purchase (click on AD) with their parents credit card associated with their account?

How many gamers will seek a better "New Experience" by cancelling access to all this force-fed bloatware?

The decision to roll out this AD dashboard is unbelievable and will come back to bite whoever signed it off.

My name is Ezequiel I'm an Independent Consultant. I really share your frustration, it's quite strange, we just want to play and not hear about news or things we are not interested in, but unfortunately it is not possible to remove it, at least not until the next update.

That is very unfortunate. I appreciate the quick response though. The already most annoying change is that instead of clicking the Games and Apps button, that section now takes you to the store instead. It is baffling that they would remove the ability to actually customize the home, which was one of the better aspects.

I couldn’t agree more with you. Definitely not designed by a gamer but rather a bean counter.

Forced updates like this are annoying, especially without an option to customise it back to how it was and remove every tile this update forced on to my dashboard.

So no delete of ads! Only “show less” ... I push show less... no change.

some of the ads do not even have a menu.. so no remove or show less?

I put a game on home screen but now even more spam show up! I do not know if it is videos of people playing ... some achievement stuff and some picture slideshow!

How do I just get the gamecovers on main screen ... no complicated menus... no spam and ads or extra.

just game and app covers on main screen?

Comming from pc this seem so much more complicated. .. Can i put windows on the Xbox instead?
