I regret to inform you that unfortunately you cannot remove Microsoft Edge from Xbox or PC. Since it is an essential component of the system. We understand that you are fighting to cease the access of malicious content by eliminating the usage of Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Edge on Xbox is built in app, and this cannot be uninstalled. However, for your concern, you may eliminate the access to the malicious websites by managing the web filtering of your account. This is applicable to accounts added on Microsoft Family group as member. The organizer (parents) should enable this web filter on the accounts of members. If by any chance you cannot do so, you may reach out to your internet service provider (ISP) for assistance about filtering websites. They could be able to assist you with this concern.

How do you access your cloud gaming experience? Is it through the Xbox app or through an internet browser?

I suggest to try on both and see if the issue is the same.

For browser experience, use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser to access xbox.com/play website.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I apologize but you can't force a player to stay offline, you can manage the settings but if they can manage it as well since we can't limit an account to access the settings of the console. What you can do is manage or restrict them to play online multiplayer via https://account.xbox.com/settings.

You can hide apps but if they know where to find them they will be able to unhide them as well and possibly remove apps.

Overall, we can't force a player to stay offline, and we can't restrict uninstalling apps or games but you can have any profiles play installed games as long as the account where the games were purchasedd is set as Home Xbox.
