Thanks! But how about all the data (games,saves,etc.) on the drive I'm moving? Will it transfer as well without having to jump through hoops?

20 ms points for doing nothing! Its not like you have to jump through hoops for it!

Also, the rebate on purchases will add up slowly too.

If you have enough Microsoft reward points, then you need to redeem the reward points for Xbox/Microsoft Gift Cards on the redeem page of Microsoft rewards. Then once the gift card codes have been emailed to you, then you can redeem those gift card codes on https://account.microsoft.com/billing/redeem Once you have enough money from the Xbox Gift Cards, you can then purchase Minecraft from the Microsoft Store or Xbox Store (depending on which version you want).

OK, since no response appeared forthcoming, figured out a solution myself- bought a US$20 Xbox Gift Card from Amazon & used that on the US Xbox Store to complete the purchase, then changed the Location of my Xbox in Settings to the US to download.

Hopefully Australian customers won't have to jump through too many additional hoops for much longer to enjoy this experience!
