How do I recover my stolen xbox account?

my xbox one was stolen how do i recover it or get it banned from xbox live its registered to my account

is the situation that you are dealing with.

Under the first tab there is a part that I will copy and paste for you here.

If you receive an email notifying you that you did not provide enough information to verify your identity, or if you don’t receive an email at all within 24 hours, you will need to contact Xbox Support.

We'll need you to provide some specific information:

• The hardware identification numbers from the Xbox console you use most often.
  
  • For the Xbox 360, we’ll need the Console ID and the Console Serial Number.
    
  • For the Xbox One, we’ll need the Device ID and the Console Serial Number.
    
• The Microsoft account email address that you're trying to recover.
  
• An alternate phone number where we can reach you if necessary.
  
• A new Microsoft account without any gamertag associations. This new account will be used for secure communication purposes during the process of recovering your compromised account.
  

To create a new Microsoft account, go to account.microsoft.com and select Create one! (you will need to sign out of any existing account to see the Create option).

• When setting up this new account, please only use your phone number as a recovery option. Do not use an alternative email address as your other email accounts may also be compromised.
  
• Do not use this new Microsoft account on your Xbox console or on Xbox.com until you receive further notification from Xbox Support.
  

The biggest thing to pay attention to in this is the last line of DO NOT use this new Microsoft accont on your Xbox console or on Xbox.com until you receive further notification from Xbox Support.

The reason for this is that what they are going to do is transfer ALL of your information over to the new Microsoft account that you create and if you sign into a Xbox console or Xbox.com it will create a Xbox profile and if the new account has an Xbox profile attached to it they will not be able to move ALL of your information from the old account to the new account. "

Basically I am confused where the form is and how I am supposed to do all this. I would prefer steps in which to recover the account. Thank you for the assistance.

By the way, This is unusual because Microsoft is able to transfer all of an account's items to the new account, yet the Gamertag will need to be different when an account is truly recovered.

Here's how you can fill out these questions:

"What are you having trouble with?"> select Account & Profile
"Whats the issue?"> I can't sign into Xbox libe
"Describe your issue"> How do I recover my stolen xbox account?

1. After that click on Next.

2. Once done select See contact options :





3. Now click on Skip:





4. And Lastly Click on Request a call
