Nope I'm putting in all the write information. My email address and password has never changed. I can't figure it out! My profile might still be on my mates console in the states, but that shouldn't be why I can't recover the original gamertag on the new
uk xbox console. I didn't have a problem doing this when I was in the states.

Unfortunately if someone else already migrated your minecraft to their own account there wouldn't be any way at all to fix that. At least not from Microsoft's end. Minecraft Support might be able to help but if they cant then nothing else can be done.
