How do I recover a lost account?

Unfortunately, Microsoft cannot bypass 2FA (two-factor authentication) without recovery methods. It's a strict security policy to protect accounts, even support agents can't override this.

You will need to fill it out and wait for Microsoft to contact you and try to help regain access to theaccount,

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your account data.

Based on your description, it might be possible that you are using a different Microsoft account since saved data, progress, and purchases are permanently attached to the Microsoft account.

You can confirm this by signing your account on account.xbox.com > go to achievements > and also check the gamer tag if you are using the same account.

Also, kindly sign in to your account on account.microsoft.com > go to payment and billing > then order history > from there, confirm if the purchases you have made are showing under your account.

If they don't show up it means that you are simply using a different account.

Do you remember if you registered either a phone number or alternate email to the account?

If you did you can use it to get part of your email to help you remember

Sign in options>Forgot username>Enter phone number or email address

If you did not then you need to go with the account recovery form

You will need to create a new one just to get pass to the form. Then if the info you provide is enough the system will match it to the actual lost account
