How do I re-install xbox after kid messed it up?

First, let's make sure to check for any updates on your Windows. Check as well any available updates from the Microsoft Store and make sure to install them all.

Check on the Control Panel by searching it from your computer search bar > Open it > Go to Uninstall a program > Check if Xbox app is currently installed. If so, try to uninstall it from there.
Restart your PC and attempt to install it again.

If it's not working, try the solution below.

Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:
Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
Restart your device.

I have tried the uninstall and re-install and no luck. Im in chat on my xbox now my aux port on my remote is messed up so i use the app to chat. I can hear my friend just fine i just cant talk due to the aux port mess up.

Hello! Sounds like the update might have messed something up. Have you tried removing the game from your Xbox entirely and then completely re-installing it?
