How do I put the IPv6 on my Xbox series x with my fiber frontier router

I’ve been trying to figure out how to get my NAT type from unavailable to open but I just can’t seem to figure it out.

I heard that if you use IPv6 you don’t need to worry about the NAT type anymore?

Frontier does not currently provide IPv6, even though the eero router is capable of and has a setting to turn it on. As a result, you will not have IPv6 on your Xbox until Frontier gets with the times

Hi, Scrumpyhi! I'm Kim, an Independent Advisor and I’m happy to help you today.

Kindly go to your Xbox Settings. Select Network Settings > Advanced Settings. Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address> select Clear. Allow the console to restart when prompted then try to check you NAT again.

If that did not work, try changing your DNS. Go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings > manual

Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8

Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

then check again.

Are the MP G421R and XPON Dual router two separate decvices?

Were you able to connect your PC with a public IPv6 address?
