How do I put a timer on Xbox?

i have the same problem as you, it will be great that microsoft put a timer for a acount in the xbox, what i do now its put the timer in my windows mobile, and when the time, comes whit the xbox companion app i turn of the console and my son belives the
xbox its tired and goin to sleep,

1. Run the game, and go to the top left corner, and click on the game option/symbol […].
2. Click on the settings, and search for thetimer option.
3. Select the timer option from on to off.

The Xbox One actually has some pretty robust parental controls! Timers can now be set on a per user basis with weekly reports being emailed to the parent accounts detailing usage for each profile. Additionally, timers can be varied for each day of the week
in case you may want to allow extra time on the weekends!
