    How do I purchase Xbox Gold Live for my Son,


    I just thought, Okay I will credit his account with £50 and he could then just get the annual offer. NOPE!

    This credit is now sitting on his account however he says he can't use it. I have removed the ask a parent consent temporarily for him and he still can't buy Xbox Gold Live.

    So frustrating 'it just says "I find a please and a hug works wonders'

    I have an adult account, I have a Microsoft account.

    My sons are on my FAMILY, the youngest has the original xbox one, probably home xbox he has Gold Live, We just got an Xbox X for the eldest and he requires Gold Live now as the gift card for 1 month expired so he can't do anything.

    I am really struggling with support, there doesn't seem to be an easy answer.

    how do I link my Live gold acct to my sons profile (HE IS ON MY FAMILY LIST) so he can play multiplayer games????

    Unfortunately, you can't transfer Gold memberships like that.

    On the Xbox One the "Home Console" can share the Gold membership to other accounts on that very console, but the Xbox 360 console can't do that.

    You need to either buy a separate Gold membership for your son via Prepaid Gold cards, or subscribe to the Gold membership with his account.
