How do I prevent a child from changing time zone.

Has there been any update on the ability to lock the timezone change or at least make it be based on the timezone on the app?

I just found out today that my kid has been doing this as well and it is all over the internet on how to bypass the parental controls. This is crazy how easy it is for something that is so nessicary for parents.

The "pin" solution isn't a great solution for me as well as my kid knows his email password which can then just bypass the pin. I am currently using the Xbox Series X and S.

We understand that you are preventing your child from changing the time zone to bypass the screen time. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

We find this as a great idea to have, a feature for a parent to ensure their child is on specific time zone. Though time zone is greatly dependent on the device settings we may send this wonderful for consideration to the Feedback team for Microsoft Family. Now, we would like to ask, is your child is using a Windows device or Xbox Console?

For the reason that the computer can be set to a time zone through the PC settings, just like the steps here is showing: Change the time zone and language settings in Outlook.com - Microsoft Support. While Xbox's time zone or region can be set through Xbox Console settings, guide can be seen here: Xbox system settings | Xbox Support

There is an account setting that you might like to set for your child's account. The settings available: county/region, display/preferred language with region - Microsoft account | Your profile.

Please check all devices are set to the right country/region or time zone. You may want to consider being the admin of the computer and set those settings (time zone and region) correctly.

Ive already done everything on that page. None of that prevents the child from altering the time zone on the xbox to keep it from locking at a specific time. For example, we live in the central time zone and i have it set to turn off at 11pm. My son just
changes the time zone to mountain which is an hour behind us and now he gets another hour of play.

how i do change the time and what time you sugest time zone
