    I understand game pass games are not available off line but I've paid real money for games and feel they should be available to me off line as well. Is it possible or am I dishing out money on digital when I should be buying the disc?

    Hi I might be wrong however, the project x cloud xbox app let's you do just that, its still in preview build mode so you'll have to be patient as there are only a few games on there, however more are being added each day. You can download the xcloud
    app through apple and android store. I suggest giving this a go. However you can only play the games using a smart phone and Bluetooth xbox one controller as you'll need this to be able to play via mobile
    .....this is definitely not realted to what OP was asking about. Also - the xCloud preview is still invite only, and is at this point Android only. The preview at this point still only gives access to 50 games, not your whole game library. The streaming
    portion of the app which uses your own console does provide access to your whole game library - but your console needs to be online for that.

    I'm pretty sure you need to be online because it checks if you indeed own the game when you start it up. You will need discs I'm afraid to play offline.
    This is 10000% not true. You can play your digital games on an offline Xbox as long as it is set as your home console.
