How do I play MK1 closed beta when it won't let me

when I downloaded the closed beta, it turned into just "The Crew Beta". it works and i'm playing it, but not sure how to play it online.

When im at my dashboard, it still won't let me enter the public beta. Could it be because of something im not doing correctly?

@Dr Kiwie :The same thing has been happening to me I installed it and it still won't recognize when I try to play it off the hard drive I had to keep opening and closing it like you said to do it worked for a little bit then it stopped letting me play on
Xbox live and eventually just stopped working completely
