How do I make Xbox (beta) delete the installation files once a game is installed?

I have been wondering where all of the space on my PC is going, buying new SSD's and still running low...

I've just discovered that Xbox (Beta) Game Pass is sitting on about 200Gb of files in its MSIXVC folders!?!

How do I get Xbox Game Pass for PC to clean up after itself?

If there is no other option, should I attempt to delete these files manually, and if so, how?

I'm not sure if currently there is a way to make Xbox (Beta) clean up install files. More than likely you'll have to delete the install files yourself (CAUTION) not to delete the actual save file location or the .exe file itself.

In theory you'd be able to delete any files that would already have installed if you knew where the launcher installs games to, in the Xbox (beta) app, if you click on your profile picture it will show you the default installation location, might be an
idea to try there & see if you can delete the files to try & reinstall them.

In the Xbox Beta app, while clicking on my profile picture - settings - general, it only says (C

drive, nothing else. I've been searching for two days after the game file location (just to remove every trace of installation files) for MCC but the files
are hidden for MS Store games.. most of them atleast. Go ahead and tell me where they are.

If you just delete and reinstall the game install, no. Make sure to drill down into the game folder and only delete the large install file, not the save game data.

I helped someone with this issue yesterday. If you still have the beta installed, make sure you delete it. Delete the extra content from the my games and apps section. Click options on BF1 the full versions, manage game, delete the additional content and
re install. You will delete the BETA this was also. If that doesnt work download the companion app for BF1, link your xbox account and it should prompt. Do the app fix only if you have done the beta fix and it still doesnt work. Let me know and happy gaming,
