How do I log into my Microsoft account on game bar if clicking switch accounts does nothing

Based on the description, you are unable to switch account in Xbox game bar. Let us check and see on what we can do to help resolve your concern in a timely manner.

Here are the things that we can do to help resolve your concern.

1. Try signing out the account and sign in using the account that you want to sign in.

2. Try resetting Xbox app and Microsoft Store. To do so follow the steps below:

Reset Microsoft Store

• Press Windows key + R and type wsreset.exe then hit enter.
  
• An empty Command prompt will pop open. Let it be for a few seconds and the command line will close automatically (after it has cleared the cache behind the background) and Microsoft Store will be launched in its place.
  

Reset Xbox app.

• Press Win + I to open the Settings app, and click on Apps.
  
• Click on Apps & features, and in the search box type Xbox app and click on app settings (three dots).
  
• Choose “Advanced Options”
  
• Scroll down and click on repair or Reset. When you click repair, wait until it is done before checking again and proceed with reset if the issue still persist.

Do you have the Game Bar installed as well? I don't think it impacts but I like to know full picture. Do you have the second account also logged into the Microsoft Store App? Does it do the same thing when you try to switch accounts there?

I logged into the game for the first time and in no time asked me to log into any account or link any account to the game account or anywhere.

I saw that in the tab ''profile'' the game assigned me a name and in the loading bar, I see that there is mention of a Gameloft ID.

I logged into other accounts in the Microsoft Store app and the Xbox app and nothing has changed regarding that ID and name to my profile. I reset the application to see if any tab to log in to any account appeared or if it would change the ID/profile within the game, nothing changed. And let's say I had logged in with the wrong account and wanted to unlink and log in to another account, who should also do that is the game's developer. Microsoft has nothing to do with the game problem.

I'm having the same issue. When I go into settings under the Account tab my Store Account is logged in, but my Microsoft account just has a green bar that says "Sign in". When I click it, it looks like the app refreshes in the background but nothing happens. And when I click "EDIT" in the corner, nothing happens either. I have also restarted the PC and reinstalled the application.
