How do I link cross platform on Minecraft Java and bedrock

I play a server on Java using my Microsoft account but then when I play bedrock on the same acoustic and on the same server on i’ts not the same as when I’m on Java. how do I link cross platform on Java and bedrock so that every thing is the same.

There is no Cross-Play between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. This means that Java Edition players can only play on Java servers with other players that play on that version of the game, and Bedrock Edition players can only play on servers specific to that version of the game.

Hi there!

The Minecraft game on Switch is a different version or on a different platform. You will have to purchase the Minecraft game on Windows platform. It includes the Java and Bedrock version. Check the link here https://www.xbox.com/games/store/minecraft-java...

Hi Victor. I don’t know how you played Java in the past. Maybe it was via game pass.
But if the game doesn’t appear purchased in your order history, it means that you don’t know it.

About the Xbox edition, yes. It’s bedrock, but it’s the Bedrock for Xbox, not Windows

The free Java edition was granted to the people who purchased Bedrock for windows.
Any other platform is not eligible, only PC (and the opposite if you owned Java)

If on Pc you have Minecraft Java you can't do cross-platform games with PlayStation, as this is only a function of Minecraft Bedrock, but you don't need to purchase a game for a platform you don't own, if your friends it's trying to invite you he needs to log into a Microsoft account in his game as well as you in your Minecraft Bedrock and add each others Microsoft accounts as friends
