How do I link a NEW microsoft account to my PS5 minecraft?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I understand that you want to unlink the forgotten Microsoft account from your Playstation.

However, according to Minecraft's policy, once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation Network account can be associated with a different account.

If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account which made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation accounts can only be re-linked to the original account. It cannot be unlinked without loss of access to entitlements and Minecoins on other platforms.

What I would recommend is to create a new PSN account where you could link your new Minecraft account.

So what you're telling me to do is make an entirely new PSN account, without my PS+, all my games I payed for, all my progress, all of which I will not have just because your company can't implement a feature millions of other games have? That's ridiculous

If you signed in with a new Microsoft account on your PS5, you will not be able to access your old Minecraft account that was linked to your previous Microsoft account.

To access your old Minecraft account, you will need to sign in to your PS5 with your old Microsoft account credentials. If you cannot remember your password, you can try to reset it using the Microsoft Account Recovery page.

If you are still unable to access your old Minecraft account, you may need to contact Minecraft support for further assistance. They may be able to help you recover your account or link your new Microsoft account to your old Minecraft account.
