How do I know when I have been opted into VIP

I had clicked opt-in but then nothing else happened. The only thing that happened was that the button disappeared.

cant become vip

You don't have to do anything to opt into VIP. As long as you're signed up for the program, you're already opted in. VIP status is based on how much you spend in the marketplace. You can see how much you need to spend for each level at http://rewards.xbox.com/terms-and-conditions

Xbox reward points and MyVIP gems conversion

So I opted out before XB Rewards transitioned to MS Rewards, and my reward points and VIP gems should've been deposited into my accounts in form of currency, as said.

I've seen that people have already received their deposits, so should I just wait or am I missing something?

There's nothing to opt in to for VIP. Anyonr who signs up for the rewards program is automatically enrolled. VIP status is based on your star levels (how much you spend in the marketplace). You can check your VIP status on the MyRewards section of the site.
You can see how much you need to spend for each level at http://rewards.xbox.com/terms-and-conditions

You would go to http://rewards.xbox.com/opt-out although since the program is already technically over, I'm not sure if that will work. You'll want to post in the support section of this forum so they can clarify.

You can still redeem Microsoft Rewards points for Xbox gift cards which will give you money for your account.

Regarding your VIP status, that button is just a prompt to go to the VIP page to opt in to those offers. For non-VIP members, they would see a button on that page to opt in to that promotion. However, since you have already opted in, that button does not
appear, since you are already in the program.
