How do I know if my Xbox account is a child’s or not

Is there any way you can check I’m bad at stuff like this

With regards to your issue, the first date setup to your account would be its date of birth when it comes to Xbox. To check whether your account is a child account, please try to access your Xbox settings via https://account.xbox.com/en-gb/Settings/Home

Then click on the Privacy & online safety settings on the page. If you can access it without asking for a parent permission then meaning your account is not a child. You may also check the date of birth of your account via https://account.microsoft.com/profile page.

Yes your Microsoft account and Xbox account is only one. Since Xbox is just part of Microsoft services so it is tied to one Microsoft email account.

For the parent permission, try signing in on the link I provided. If you cannot sign in and it is asking for a permission then that means your account is a child. But if you can properly sign in, meaning your account is not a child. Kindly let us know how it goes when you tried signing in.
