How do I know if my data is up to speed to console streaming?

As far as I know it is only required that your home network can handle the speed/data required for the stream.

I went through a period of having to use hotspot tethering for internet on my console for a few months. I had unlimited data through AT&T and I had this exact same problem where the console stops connecting automatically and eventually doesn't connect/takes
a really long time to connect. I just dealt with it and was patient and tried to get it to connect a lot and it normally eventually did.

The problem is the streaming and internet speed from the phone to console is incredibly unreliable when using a mobile network for internet versus using Wi-Fi or a wired connection. In a sense, its just not powerful enough to effectively and reliably connect
to the console for long periods of time for both streaming speed and data usage. Incredible data usage, which happens when hotspot tethering, causes the speed for internet and streaming to slow drastically. You may have reached your data caps and the streaming
speeds are just so slow there's virtually no connection to be had.

Nothing is wrong with your Xbox its just the internet service.

Unfortunately for now, game streaming on mobile data isn't a great solution, 5G will improve latency a great deal but it can only do so much. I've found that xCloud gives me significantly better performance over console streaming,regardless of network
condition - likely because the servers are better optimized for video encoding and haveassive data bandwidth data center connections. What're youR upload speeds like at home?

i actually just noticed my browser on console can reach over 200mbps upload, [similar to the pc with the same wire]
the only problem i have is when i check through settings>network speed and statistics. and that affect my streaming [im not a streamer , just stream to save my playthroughs] streams are still lagging badly with a 200mbps uplink!

I dont have problems with my network speed it is the frame dropping that is the main problem. I get 200 mbs where my xbox is

Is the 200 mbps upload speed? The upload speed is the important number for streaming as you as sending the data outwards. If it is slow that could cause lag.
