    Hi there,

    You would need to either apply for an available position at Microsoft in that division (careers.microsoft.com), or work for a company that designs accessories for Microsoft.

    According to the website. “If you’re looking to design and product accessories for Xbox, the Designed for Xbox program is where to start. As a licensed partner, you’ll have access to our branding guidelines and technical specifications.” So it appears that one would not have to be a Microsoft employee or work for third-party company, just a licensed partner. However, there’s no way to access any of this information through the website.
