    How do I install the preview version of the Xbox app on Windows 10?


    This is my first time being a part of an insiders preview on PC so I'm not sure of the process. I opted in to the windows gaming and gamebar previews through the Xbox Insider app on my PC and then I downloaded an update for my Xbox app but nothing is different and there are no options for cloud gaming or remote play as their should be. Am I missing a step in the process here?

    Can you advise us what Windows 10 version you have installed please?

    Windows Store should be installed by default on Windows 10. It will be missing if

    1. It's removed via Powershell

    2. You have a version of Windows 10 lower than Windows 10 Home.

    Lower versions of Windows 10 lack the store and other store based apps, and therefore the Xbox App is not compatible with these OS versions.

    You need to first sign out of the insider preview, for example using the xbox app in windows 10 and then do a factory reset, it will install the last public update. OSU system doesnt work in consoles with preview system.
