How do i install mods in Warhammer 3 (GamePass for PC)

Toms, unfortunately, or now, it's not possible to use mods on Warhammer 3 on the GamePass version. :/

1. It is only happening to Halo Infinite. All the other Xbox games on my PC work fine.

2. The game was installed with the Xbox app from the Microsoft store.

3. I use only the windows 10 built-in Defender. It is not run through a VPN, I have a VPN for work, but it's just the built-in windows VPN and it was not running while the game is trying to launch. No PC optimizer, or proxy. Anti-cheat would be per game, I do have a lot of games installed which have their own anti-cheat, like Call of Duty MW2. Or Chivalry 2, Gears 5, Warhammer Darktide. Halo Infinite has it's own Anti-cheat software. No mods.

4. Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2728)

Sadly as someone else said modding is not really possible with games obtained with GamePass PC (at least for NOW, read the last paragraph). It's due to the way the games are "packaged"/installed. Even with games on GamePass PC that are not UWP modding is
still not possible because the game folders are EXTREMELY locked down. You can't even simply look at a games install folder for gamepass PC games. Just like if you buy any apps/games from MS Store, all GamePass PC games are delivered through the MS store BTW,
the new beta Xbox app is just a front end / new UI but when you hit download it starts downloading from the MS store.

However there is some hope for the future. Microsoft is laying groundwork to make traditional modding of GamePass/MS Store games possible. It's already documented in their developer stuff. So it's something they know people want and are working on making
possible, so not today but I def expect to see GamePass PC / MS Store games get traditional modding support (where you can download mods from the nexus, replace game files etc) in the future.
