    How do I install the updates

    OK, so i don't have my XBOX connected online, so how do i get the updates?

    I've been looking for a download that I can transfer to my XBOX but am unable to lacate it.

    A free xbox live account allows you to download patches.

    Here's a guide on how to install games -> Installing Games on Xbox One

    If you have a physical disc then just insert it into your Xbox and it will start installing.

    If your Xbox came with some digital game, then follow these steps to redeem the code ->
    How to redeem gift cards and codes

    If you dont have any games yet, head to the Xbox Store either on your Xbox, or Xbox app on phone, or on xbox.com and purchase a game you need. There are free games as well.

    You can view all the games you own on Xbox by pressing Xbox button, then going to My games & apps > Games,
    and then select the game title from the Ready to install tab at the top of the screen.

    If your downloading games from the microsoft store i would recommend while its downloading to try and avoid playing apps and games as that could potentially slow town your download speed.

    If your downloading a game from an xbox disk try goijng offline as i have seen and herd that it downloads alot faster

    Are you installing from a disc ot do then yes disconnecting from the internet may speed it up but online assets will require an update.

    Make sure there are no games or apps running

    XBF Brad A is 100% correct.

    I will add that while you're gaming or using apps on your Xbox, it will decrease the download speed of updates/installs quite a bit to maintain performance of whatever you're doing. So, if you want it to install something as fast as possible, don't use
    the Xbox while installing games.

    DISCLAIMER: All of this still depends on internet speeds for online updates/downloads.
    As I've said many times before, I am not using my Xbox. I just turn it on to let the game install. I'm not ysing any other apps.
