Normally you will see both on your settings page. So the xbox will choose either ipv4 or 6 .

If ipv6 is not there you will need to check your router settings or get in touch with your ISP. 👍

you get your ipv6 from your isp,

if this is possible your router must be configured for ipv6,

after that your xbox will get an ipv6 and this shows up in your xbox config.

According to Xbox Support:

"Several home routers support IPv6 but disable it by default. Check the manual for your router, or visit our Networking Hardware Information support forum."

Make sure that it is enabled on your router and once you have made the changes, your console should automatically detect it.
