How do I get Xbox 360 game to save on Xbox one x

You need to save to the cloud on your Xbox 360 to have access to backwards compatible game saves.

thanks for the answer but the last access I didn't do on the xbox 360, but on the old One that I now gave back for the X.

• To find out if the games you own are backward compatible, check your game library. Go to My games & apps > Full library > Owned games, select the Filter button, and then switch the All console types filter to either Xbox 360 & Xbox or Xbox One.
  

You’ll need to press the Menu and View button simultaneously to access the Xbox 360 guide and console-specific features like achievements, party chat, or friend requests while you’re playing your Xbox 360 backward compatible game.

Oh I figured it out! I reset my Xbox 360 data under settings. Then restarted the Xbox one. Started a new game. So I might have lost my old game saves but now I can save my new ones!

No I just want to play New Vegas and Oblivion on Xbox One X but it won't let me save my progress or connect to Xbox Live at all on any 360 games that I downloaded with my game pass ultimate. That's the error message I keep getting when I try.
