How do I get the audio at my PC to work thru my Epson overhead projector?

Thank you Lou, here's how to change your audio output:

Click the volume icon next to the clock;
Click the arrow next to the volume bar;
Switch to the desired audio device.

Projectors expect you to use external sound systems

You can use the volume bar to increase the volume; if it’s all already set to 100, I recommend checking if it’s possible to change the volume on the projector itself. The projector’s manual should provide some guidance on this.
