    How do I get rid of "exit code: 1" on Minecraft?


    I'm using CurseForge to install mods, but I can barely even load in the game itself. I've tried to modify the Minecraft launcher path, reinstalled Java, reinstalled Minecraft, reinstalled CurseForge, deleted all mods, etc. My system model is an OptiPlex 7040, temporarily. I'm on Windows 10. For some reason, I can't upload the image but all it says is:
    ERROR
    Game crashed

    An unexpected issue has occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
    Exit Code: 1
    I know everyone will say a different thing but I'm not a tech expert, so I don't know how to fix this problem.

    We understand that help with the Exit Code: 1 on your Minecraft game. We truly understand how important is this for you, but since you're using a mods on the game there is possible chance that might affect the game if you're using a mod.

    What we can highly recommend for this is you need to directly contact the Minecraft or Mojang support(Game Studio). For them to investigate that Exit code:1 and the same time to provide a timely resolution.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having technical issues with Minecraft due to error code -1. This usually happens when your system can't detect your Java. Please follow my recommendations below.

    Step 1: You need to open the Minecraft Launcher and click 'Launch Options'

    *Note: If you're using the new launcher go to Minecraft: Java>Installations tab>Latest Release and click the 3 dots then edit. Now click more options then you'll see the Java executable box.

    Step 2: In settings, make sure the 'Java executable' box is checked/ticked/set to green.

    Step 3: In the text box next to 'Java executable', you need to remove the w oat java, and make sure that the code in the box reads like so: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin\java.exe

    Step 4: Save your changes then try launching the game.

    Step 5: If that does not work, you made need to delete and re-install Java and/or Minecraft itself.

    Please check if this issue also occurs with the original or vanilla version of Minecraft. If it only happens with the Forge version of the game, even if you haven't installed mods as you mentioned, then it means that the issue is not with Minecraft itself but with Forge. Therefore, it is recommended to contact Forge Support because Mojang does not provide support for that version, as it is not an original and native version of the game created by them.

    How to fix Minecraft Exit Code -1?

    Does the game open correctly if you uninstall all the mods? If so, then the error you're experiencing with Minecraft can only be due to two things:
