    how do i get out of the trouble shooting screen?


    guys i need help bad!! so earlier today i noticed my xbox wouldn’t let me open up any games, but sometimes they’d open but crash a couple minutes into playing. i got told by xbox support that “power cycling” would be my best option, i make it to the trouble shooting screen but now i can’t get out of it…. no matter what i do. i’ve clicked everything, “restart this xbox” doesn’t work, it just sends me straight back to the same screen, factory reset doesn’t work either. the only one i havnt tried is the osu. but i can’t get to that because my xbox isn’t reading my usb. please, anything would help. i just wanna play xbox with my girlfriend

    I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue, the only other step could try is the Offline System Update. Make sure you have set up the USB correctly:

    - Your USB drive must be formatted as NTFS. Most USBs come formatted as FAT32. Here's how to format it:

    Plug your USB drive into your PC, open File Explorer and go to This PC. Right-click on the USB drive and select Format. In the File system drop-down menu, select NTFS. Select Start to begin formatting.

    - Make sure you're using the correct files for your system. If you have an original Xbox One, you need to follow the steps at the bottom of this page for that specific system: https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/offline-system-update

    Yes, please give that a try.

    Instead of the offline update files, I'd suggest downloading the ones required for an offline system reset, as that's what this particular error calls for. You can fine the file at: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-ne...

    Hi, Ash! thank you for your reply.

    Did you try the "Keep games and apps" option or the one that removes everything? E102 calls for a complete reset, so if you haven't tried that yet, please do.

    If you already tried both kinds of reset, the next thing to try would be an offline factory reset through a USB flash drive. This support page has detailed instructions on how to perform one, as well as the requirements for it: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-ne...
