So I got the Black screen of death and when it goes to the trouble shooting menu after a while I factory reset and it doesn’t turn of for a little and then it turns off and then turns on and it just repats this process over and over again

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You're performing the steps correctly but there seems to be an issue with the console itself. If I may ask, do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? If yes, kindly unplug them because a corrupted hard drive may cause issues.

Also, make sure that your console is plugged directly into a wall socket.

After all that try resetting it again via the Xbox Troubleshooter page.

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

4. Press and hold the Pair button and the Eject button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

5. Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

When the console powers up, you will see the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. Please click on "Reset this Xbox" then "Reset and keep my games and apps".

In this case, you need to take your Xbox 360 to a repair shop so they can check the hardware.
