    How do I get my Xbox series x audio to work again with a tv.


    I reset my console completely to reset its quality to work on a different tv. Now the audio doesn’t work and when I plugged it back into my other monitor there is still no audio coming from the speaker. Please help!

    Hello Casey,

    Nilay here and I'm glad to answer your query today.

    Restart the audio-video receiver. Set your TV connection to HDMI. Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide, then select Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options. Choose the Video fidelity & overscan option, and under Display, select HDMI.

    Does Microsoft have a plan to fix the "no audio" issues with the Xbox series x games?

    my xbox series X is playing up i have no game audio for xbox one and series X games, xbox 360 game worked fine, i reset my console kept games and apps and no audio still. i dunno ill call support when i can, Im using samesung 4k hdr qled tv and it worked fine a few hours ago and then just stopped. and last few months been having no menu sound and start up sound too issue now no games audio :(

    Xbox series x no sound

    My issue is the same. My additional input: I just bought the X-Box Series X 2 weeks ago. I transferred all my games over. At first, every game I tried worked fine. Then the system suddenly decided yesterday to upgrade the newer games to the Series X versions of the games. Every game that is older and doesn't have a Series X upgrade works perfectly. It's only the games that have upgraded to Series X versions of the games that have "no audio" issues.

    For reference, I do have a Samsung smart TV as well, a I've been reading other with this issue may also have. I have audio on the dashboard.

    Hoping for a fix soon. Thanks.

    Will the Xbox Series X or S be able to be down scaled to 720p - 1080p?

    I have a similar question. So if i have a 1080p TV will the Xbox Series X work fine on that? and is it worth getting the Series X for a 1080p TV? What are the advantages?
