How do I get my old profile onto a new console?

I have an xbox one s and an xbox one x. I have one microsoft account. I have a different game tags on the two consoles. When I log into xbox.com I see my old xbox-s profile and the old gametag. I want to make my old gametag (profile?) available on the new xbox-x. When I start the xbox-x, I see my new gatetag. I can't find a way to get access to my old gametag even though it is accessible on my PC when I log into XBOX.com. How do I get my old tag onto the new console?

A Microsoft account can't be linked to two Xbox profiles. (But exists the probability, is low. But exists)

First, the progress and everything is the same for these two gamertag?
Or you have different achievements / progress in each one?

I ask this due to currently your Xbox profile can have two gamertags, one is for the old Xbox gamertag system and the other for the new system

I've just logged onto my console to be told I'm permanently banned I have no idea why, I've got a fifa 22 profile how do I log onto it by making a new profile ?

Thank you for the reply XGC Tyrant. I just want to make sure I understand how to do this though, so that I don't mess something up.

So what I need to do is sign in with my cousin's profile on the new 360, transfer the licenses to my old 4GB model, and then I will be able to sign in with my profile on my new 360 and play the DLC?

I'm assuming that since the license was transferred to the original console with my profile on it, that I will then have the license linked to my profile, and then I will be able to access the DLC on the new console since the DLC has already been downloaded
onto that console.

okay, thanks for the info but besides the technical tip do you have any other ideas of how I can accomplish getting the saved game and profile info off the old HDD and onto the new XBOX?

Hey there Sodeskane! I understand you are having some trouble downloading your profile on your new console. You mention using your old Hard Drive, but did the new console come with a new Hard Drive? If so, try using that with the console and then download
your profile.

Also, do other profiles have issues when downloading to this new console? What about downloading your profile onto other consoles? Let me know if you can try that out and how it goes, thanks!
