Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects to Samsung frame TV, but does not work to control any functions on screen

    I have the same issue:

    * the plain Xbox controller (non elite) connects via bluetooth to the TV and is recognised by the Xbox cloud app on my Samsung TV. I can use it to play games using the Samsung Xbox app.

    * the brand new Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects via bluetooth to the TV and is NOT recognised by the Xbox cloud app.

I tried several attempts deleting the pairing, re-pairing. Turn off TV on the power switch. Re-installing the Xbox app on the Samsung TV.

The result is always the same:

    * The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects successfully to the TV and is shown as Paired and Connected in the Samsung TVs feature where you add external devices.
    * But the Xbox app shows the yellow ! exclamation mark and does not recognise the Elite Controller.

I’ve paired my other non Elite standard Xbox controller now vie Bluetooth and USB, which works both.

Xbox Console Streaming Doesn't Work and Is Not Real?

"I don't know what Bluetooth is."

Bluetooth is a wireless technology, it allows you to connect Bluetooth enabled devices to other devices to allow them to be used via wireless, in this instance an Xbox One controller on mobile phone or tablet.

to use an Xbox controller on your phone you'll need to sync it to your device.

As for it being some kind of Scam, it isn't. I've not been able to test home streaming on a phone/tablet, but I've tested out the Xcloud preview and I'm pleasantly surprised!

Just because it didn't work for you or you don't understand how to set it up, doesn't make it scam.

What could it be used for? Imagine being in hotel with a fast internet connection but you've got nothing to do? Xcloud to the rescue. Connect your controller to the Phone or tablet and stream Xbox games to your device. Seems pretty cool.

Can't get Xbox Accessories app to see my Elite 2 controller on Windows 10

Just checking on status. Yes I'm connecting to the PC via the provided cable with my Elite Controller. My PC is upstairs and my Xbox is down stairs. When I turn on my controller on the PC it still turns on my xbox down stairs.

The main issue is the Xbox Accessory App won't work and I cannot configure my paddles.

I use USB to do this. It won't work anyway with Bluetooth.

How can I get the app working? I've ran through many suggestion that were on other forums.

    I've rebooted

    Uninstalled Reinstalled the app.

Yet it still does not work.

    Hi SoullessBoar,

The screenshot you posted I'm assuming is coming from the actual Xbox Game Streaming (Preview) app you need to use to access this feature, which is still a work in progress. Therefore, the oversight is in the app itself which is still a work in progress
and could've been added in that message by accident as the controller can be used via USB on an Xbox One console and Windows 10 PC, but not a mobile device at this time and there is no indication it will come in the future. Although it's always possible, at
    this point it's just speculation.

Only those who do not have a Bluetooth capable Xbox One controller and use the app first without reading over the official page for Project xCloud beforehand would be under the impression that you could use a cable to connect the controller to the mobile
device, but that is simply not the case at the moment. When registering and signing up to participate in this program, you should have been presented at some point the requirements to join, which would have included a Bluetooth capable Xbox One controller
as one of the requirements to participate because without one, you won't be able to try out the program.

There is nothing we can do here on the Microsoft forums to address an issue with the work in progress
Xbox Game Streaming (Preview) app or Project xCloud. You can submit feedback to the developers directly from the app or by posting a thread over on the Xbox Insiders subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxinsiders/wiki/xgspreview
