    How do I get my Halo: The Master Chief Collection to recognize or properly install the...


    Anything else I install in the Xbox app or the Microsoft store downloads just fine, and other games, such as Halo: Infinite, function as intended. For some reason when I download Halo: The Master Chief Collection, it cannot register having had downloaded any of the games that come with it. And when I try to install them, I get an error message. The images below explain the rest.

    I'm thinking it's a Windows 11 bug, but I haven't been able to solve the issue even after hours of research and trial and error. I need some sort of personalized assistance, because I've tried what seems to be every solution known to man. Please help.

    Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
    One to be able to download the game.

    You have to have Halo The Master Chief Collection installed on your console as the game Halo Reach was an add on for that game collection.
