    How do I get my account back that had my old Modern Warfare 2 and Halo 3 achievements?


    I haven't played/had Xbox Live in yearsss, but when I did it was on the 360 console. Now that I have a PC and there's a resurgence in the game, I'd like to download the PC version and have my old gamertag back or atleast my saved progress...I went into the trouble of gaining access to my old email and trying to sign into activision because I couldnt remember if you needed one back then for call of duty, but nothing pops up and there's no email they send me to reset my account password so I'm guessing I just had an xbox live...but the thing is when I sign into my microsoft account with the old email I use It doesn't show my old gamertag!!! which is AlertParasite if anyone's wondering that might be support....It shows some garbage randomly generated tag which is strange..How can I possibly recover my old info if when I sign into microsoft's xbox live it doesn't show any record of my old account? online help isn't working as I get off work too late to call or chat live with a support agent..anyone got any suggestions?

    But why does the gamertag still bring up my profile when you look it up on Xbox lives website? You can see my halo 3 profile image how many friends I had and everything?

    First off, your old save files would not be accessible because they are for the Xbox 360 which is not compatible in anyway with the PC, including cross save.

    It's quite possible your account was closed due to inactivity

    If your account was closed you had 60 days after that date to reopen it, but given how long it appears to be based on what you wrote, And that you appeared of used exclusively for Xbox, I'm guessing it's gone

    Well on a few of my other accounts, oblivion, Fallout NV and on here, Modern Warfare 2, AC 2, Harms Way but that's an Arcade, Halo ODST, Halo 3, Halo Reach.
