hello, the furthest i got with xbox support was to make a new separate account. they had told me they could transfer everything to a new account within a couple of days , then nothing was ever transferred to the new account.

Hello again, this is really strange, you would have asked them for an ACT (Account Takeover)

ATO is a similar procedure to the online form, but done by a Microsoft agent, it will need as much information as possible for you to do the procedure.

Here in the community we are independent consultants, so we do not have access to the same information and tools that support has.

Each account recovery case is unique, and if you request the ATO, you must wait for a response from Microsoft's investigation department.

Because a compromise to your Windows Live ID usually means a compromise to your Xbox Live account as well (since that's how you redownload a profile and change settings: by Windows Live ID and password), if you call Xbox Customer support and tell them your
Windows Live ID has been compromised and you believe your Gamertag has been as well, they will review your account and escalate it to the Investigations Team. They do they actual investigation, and they don't release the details on how that's done to the public,
since then those who are so inclined to steal accounts (shame on them) would know how to get around the investigation.

At any rate, the only time I've ever heard of Xbox Customer support not doing an investigation is if there was never a Gamertag linked to the Windows Live ID in question. Only then does it have to go to the Windows Live Team alone. At least, that is my understanding
of the matter.
