How do I get Minecraft for windows 11 free, I've had the java version before 2018?

Hey there!

I've had Minecraft since at least 2015 and only recently found out I could get the windows 11 version for free. Th catch 22 here is I've already migrated my Mojang account so my details no longer work when I try to log in on account.mojang.com.

My question now, is it still availale for free and if so how might I go about downloading it. Ive attempted to install the new launcher to no avail and the process has been exhausting. I love this game, ive spent hours playing it! Id love to play the game in a diffrent way.

Any assitance is greatly appretiated.

I search for the Minecraft Windows 10 Versions Code, wich should be free because I have the Minecraft Java Edition for many years. In the Internet stands that I should find the Code on the Mojang Website but there is nothing.

Hello friend, this is a promotion available only for users who have purchased the Java version before October 19, 2018, so of you did not bought the game beforte this date you cannot get the Windows 10 version for free

they were giving owners of the java version who bought it before 2018 a free copy of windows 10 version but that had to be claimed and that also ended quite a while ago.

The code you mean was for people that bought JAVA Minecraft on the Mojang website before October 2018. Buyers of the JAVA Version before that date would get a code that allows them to redeem Minecraft Windows 10 on the Windows 10 Store.

Unfortunately, buyers of the Xbox One Minecraft "only" get the Xbox One Minecraft and nothing else. Only digital buyers of the older "Minecraft Xbox One Version" (With "Xbox One Version" in the game title) would later get the newer Bedrock Minecraft for
Xbox One for free.

So, if you bought Minecraft (without the "Xbox One Version" in the name) on your Xbox One, that's the only version you will get. There is no Windows 10 code.
