How do I get in my laptop that I set a password to and forgot to write it down.

It's not online and I'm not logged in so it's that's the whole thing I'm not logged in so I can't get my past I don't know the password so I'm kind of screwed right now and the operating system is Windows 10 I believe and nobody else uses it as far as I know

Thank you for the update. If this is a local account, click the Reset Password option found below the password field. This option will appear for local Windows 10 accounts after entering the password incorrectly once. Windows 10 will ask a series of security questions that you set up when you created the account. You'll be able to change the password if you answer the questions correctly.

Sorry I forgot to write down, there is no isse when I use it with usb cable. Also there is no issue with bluetooth connection when I pair it with my friends’ laptop.

i´m afraid that it´s the administrator password for the laptop so i can´t even do that.

the laptop was a gift and the ones that set the computer up well they forgot the password.

guess i have to reset the computer?
