How do I get Dragon Age DLC's for FREE?

In October 2022, Bioware / EA announced that the Dragon Age DLC's were now FREE, since they would be shutting down the Origin servers, discontinuing Bioware points, etc.

But today, I can't get the Dragon Age DLC's for XBOX for free.

The XBOX store still charges for Dragon Age DLC's. A lot.,

I also cannot get help from EA. I have been trying for weeks.

Here's what I found - the EA help site has nothing but problems:

- They cannot handle any help tickets at all. It's truly pathetic. (try it yourself, you'll see)

- They don't register your game purchases even if you link your XBOX account to your EA account, so you can't get downloads.

- They require a game code to register a purchase. You can't get it. Microsoft will not give it to you.

- They don't have the XBOX DLC's listed anywhere (only PC and MAC)

This should be so easy, but it's difficult and broken.

How do I get the Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age II DLC content for FREE, per that announcement from less than a year ago?

They are free only for the company's servers, which do not include console copies, since the servers used on these devices are those of Microsoft.

Sure it looks better but it is still the same dice roll system as the first game.

I'd go for Dragon Age: Origins as well. Make sure to get the Ultimate Edition, which comes with all the DLC on a disc.

With Bioware canning their future DLC plans for Dragon Age II, you do have to wonder about Mass Effect 3 DLC.

After the free Extended Cut, will we really get plenty of single player content as with ME2 or will it be mostly multi-player that is going to be developed?

Dragon Age II wasn't that well received but it got nothing like the backlash that Mass Effect 3 has gotten. I wouldn't be surprised if all we got after the Extended Cut is the rumoured "Retake Omega" DLC and then it'll switch to all multi-player content.

I just picked Dragon Age II today, and I haven't got very far.

But from what I've played so far, I am overly enjoying this game

I am excited for the upcoming DLC and beyond, I have seen how so many people loved Dragon Age: Origins DLC because of how massive they were.

Dragon Age Collection for the Xbox One

This will contain the " Definitive Versions " of Dragon Age Origins (with all DLC) and Dragon Age 3 (with all DLC) along with Dragon Age Inquisition for the Xbox One

There you go, no more problem needed about the whole importation thing

And for those of you that are asking, would I play the first two games all over again just to get more enjoyment out of Dragon Age Inquisition?
