    How do I get assistance with a bug?


    I have encountered a bug, whereby when I try to remove a follower using the block/unblock feature, the follower remains listed on my profile's followers list.

    I do not expect to receive help with this issue directly, here. I can, however, see from the below link that somebody else with this exact same issue was able to get it resolved by Xbox support staff.

    I am looking to find out how to get in contact with Xbox support staff, so that I too can have this issue resolved. The support website is currently not functioning, and I cannot find any contact options on the Xbox console.

    Thank you for the response and assistance.

    The "block/unblock" method has been a reliable method of removing followers for many years. Only in this one instance has it failed to work properly, which is why I refer to it as a bug.

    I have tried using the Xbox account website to do the blocking, but with no success. I've now managed to contact Xbox support and send them a video of the issue. I am now awaiting a response.

    I believe it's worth noting again that this exact issue appears to have been solved by Xbox support, in the following thread:

    I'm hoping that someone with Xbox support can note this, and replicate the solution for my case.

    How do I get assistance with a bug?

    Install the "Xbox Insider Bundle" from the Store. It doesn't matter if you're an insider or not - you can install it either way.

    Once installed, replicate the issue, then hold down the Xbox button on your controller to bring up the shutdown screen, as if you were going to turn the console off. On that screen you will see a new "Report a problem" option. Click on that, then you'll figure out what to do from there.

    That will create logs that, along with your bug report, will be sent to the devs, however, it's obviously not guaranteed that your issue will be fixed. It's the best way to report an issue though, because of the logs created by the console.

    We understand that you're experiencing a bug with the block/unblock feature on your Xbox profile. Just to set proper expectation, there is no official way to remove followers from your Xbox profile. The "Block unblock" method has been reported to work, but it's not an official solution. Just like other social media platforms. If we like the person who providing us satisfactory contents and all online, we became a follower to their pages. Nothing to worry about, we can try to work on this together.

    1. Kindly open this link: Contact Us | Xbox Support

    3. If not. please select the country region it is showing and select the correct one among the lists.

    4. Make sure to use the check the available contact times of the support.

    5. Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

    6. Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

    7. The next window will provide you with support articles based on your request and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "See contact options" button.

    8. On the final window, you will be presented with multiple options. We suggest selecting either the "Chat online" or the "Request a call" options to speak with someone. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible.

    In the meantime, you may also want to try some basic troubleshooting steps on your own. For example, you can try sign in your account on the web browser. Navigate to your profile page, click on the "Followers" tab to view your list of followers, select the follower you would like to remove, and press the "Unfollow" button.
