How do i get a username i want unblocked?

Hi,

I'm trying to change my username on Xbox. To be given a message saying that "This gamertag isn't allowed. Try a different one." And i'm really confused. The username isn't above the character limit. Its not already taken. And there is already someone with a username with the main section of the name so im lead to believe that nothing I'm putting should be classed as inappropriate. Im really confused why i cant have it as i said, someone else already has the name similar. My username is literally the same but with Dr at the start. Please can somebody help

Without knowing the full user name we cant really comment on it Dr owengardiner is too long so if you changed the letter we need context

I'm sorry to hear that. Sadly, if the tag is not allowed, there is nothing that can be done. The gamertag could have been issued a permanent suspension or any other reasons for not being permitted.

If it doesn't meet the requirements you will get that message and will need to pick a different one.

Hi! i am trying to log in to the xbox app and it says that it cant sign me in at the moment. Another thing is that my account appears to be "blocked by group policy" and i dont know why, because of this i cant log into my microsoft account into anything.
