Did you was able to gain access to the hacked account using one of the methods listed here:

Or did you created a new Microsoft account using the previous email address attached to your Minecraft profile?

They only way they gained access to my account was because my google account was hacked which I know have access for. The same happened for Discord but I got that back.

Is there no way to reclaim the account, it is still under our family and we have the details for it. I am trying to get this account back because it has Minecraft on it, That has high levels in multiple servers like Hypixel and Mineblock which my son spent days getting.

First thing you want to do is call Microsoft and inform them of what is going on. They will be able to look at the billing on the account. They may also be able to help you dad gain access back to the account. He will have to answer some security questions
to gain access but it I think they can help on that end as well.
