How do I fix WRC Generations from not crashing upon startup?

I am currently playing on an xbox series x, and have recently purchased WRC Generations standard edition. The game will briefly show the startup screen for a few seconds, then proceed to crash. I have deleted and re-installed the game, and have performed a powercycle on the xbox. I do wish to play the game but will refund if I must. Please help with a solution to this problem.

Do you have a PC in your house? (or a friend who has one)

If yes, please connect the wheel to the PC and check if maybe a firmware update is available for your device

Hello I have a Logitech G920. I am also using the Logitech pedals and shifter, no aftermarket parts. I do have other games like Forza which don't have any issues regarding the wheel.

It seems that I do indeed have the latest update. I have also noticed that the game will run even if the steering wheel is connected, as long as the steering wheel is powered off. When I turn it on, the game crashes.

This can be a bit odd, but do you have the game install on a external hard drive?

If yes, move the game to the internal storage and try again.

If you have the game install on the internal storage and, if you have USB accessories connected to the console. Please disconnect all of them and give it a new try

By the way, this is happening only with WRC, right?
And, are you using an insider build / beta OS on your console?
