How do I fix which email confirmation is sent to when I try to log in with xbox?

With regards to verification codes being sent to our Xbox account, you should be able to change it via https://account.microsoft.com/security page by going to "advanced security settings"

From there, it will ask you to verify your account before you can make a change or update your recovery information. Once you were able to verify it, you can then add your new phone or email address for verification codes. In case you don't have access to your current recovery information, you may still edit it by clicking the "I don't have any of these" option on the verification screen however, this will put your account on a 30 day locked out period as part of a Microsoft accounts security feature to prevent someone from hacking our accounts.

Hi Vinicius, thank you so much for the reply! However, if you can see the screenshot of the Minecraft launcher, it says I'm logged in my Microsoft account in the top left. I have tried reinstalling the launcher multiple times without success and have ensured that I have logged in the microsoft account that I used to migrate my mojang account with. Could the problem be with the microsoft email address I migrated the mojang account to being the exact same as a yahoo email address (the confirmation email was sent to the yahoo email, not the microsoft one)? Is the confirmation email supposed to be sent to the microsoft account? If this is the case, is there something else I can do and any other suggested fixes I could try?

I ordered mine from GAME and they automatically sent me an email to confirm and when I logged in to check my order says day one with FREE FIFA.

yes I received the confirmation email that I had migrated my account over, I was sent a code in the previous email which i used to do so

i have the confirmation email of migration but when i use that email adress it just says play demo on the launcher how do i check which is the correct account
