How do I fix upnp not connected and nat type moderate

its usually NAT types that cause these problems, for best results you need to be sure you are both running an OPEN NAT type, open nat can connect with strict and moderate, but moderate and strict sometimes struggle to connect with one another.

making sure UPnP is enabled in the settings can help.

You may need to manage your router settings.

For the UPnP not successful error please follow the steps below:

"1. Sign in to your router’s setup webpage, and make sure the router’s UPnP setting is turned on. You can usually find first-time help with this in the router manual or on the manufacturer’s support site.

2. Turn the UPnP setting off and save your changes.

3. Restart your console, your modem, and your router.

4. Turn the UPnP setting back on and save your changes. If there’s a Zero Config setting, make sure that’s turned on as well.

5. Restart your modem and router."

In regards to your NAT Type being strict please OPEN the following ports:

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port UDP 4500 (UDP)

My nat type is moderate and I can not do party’s I’m not sure what to do and my upnp says not successful. Please help

NAT moderate means that not all the ports required for the Xbox network are opened
Let me give you the needed ports for you to open:

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)

That should work once you open them. Make sure to contact your Internet Service Provider for this.

Then do this in your PC after port forwarding: (after, not before please)

1. Open command prompt as admin.

2. Copy and paste below command.
netsh interface Teredo set state type=enterpriseclient clientport=3074

3. In Windows, open All Settings - Gaming - Xbox Networking (not in the Xbox app) (only Windows 10)

4. On Administrator Command Prompt copy & paste the command:
netsh interface Teredo set state type=client

5. Back in Settings Xbox Networking, hit the Fix It button (only Windows 10)

6. Check again button should show not working (only Windows 10)

7. Back at Command Prompt and copy & paste the command:
netsh interface Teredo set state type=enterpriseclient
