How do I fix update payment method glitch?

Please proceed to do a power cycle to fix the issue

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button  on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button  on the console or the Xbox button  on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

I see if a payment method error appears when trying to pay for the purchase, try using another payment method. Here's how to update a payment method:

1. Sign in to the Microsoft account you want to update.

2. Go to Payments & Billing and select Payment Options.

3. Under Payment Methods, you can select Add a new payment method, View or edit card, or Delete card.

4. Enter the updated information and select Save. If no more requests appear, you are done.

5. If this doesn't work, contact your bank or payment provider to verify your payment information.

Sorry to hear it. If the purchase did push to your console then the issue was more than likely a glitch. Sometimes I try to make a purchase on the website and my payment method does not show so I have to do it on the console. The, later, the payment
method shows up again.
