    How do I fix unavailable Nat type / teredo issues.


    Hi, I have an Xbox series x and recently have been encountering multiplayer/network issues. My Xbox continually shows that Nat type is unavailable as well as issues with teredo connection. I have searched for hours trying to fix the issue but have had no luck so far. I have tried port forwarding, dmz, and a myriad of other things within my modems settings. I have a Telstra smart modem gen 2. Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks.

    Based on the description, you are trying to change your Network Address Translation or NAT type to open unorder to play online multiplayer games and is unable to despite trying some troubleshooting steps. Let us check and see on what else can be done to help resolve your concern in a timely manner.

    As per description that the specific error message you are getting is NAT type unavailable. If you encounter any of these error messages, the underlying issue is that the console was unable to obtain a Teredo IP address. For the complete troubleshooting steps, see screenshot or may check the link for your reference.

    That was one of the troubleshooting sites I tried. I have already gone through every step on that guide, in order and without overlapping. However, my Xbox continued to show Unavailable NAT type.

    Thank you for your prompt response and truly apologized for some delay in our end.

    We truly appreciate for trying some steps to resolve the issue however the issue is more complex than what we have expected. The best way to address your concern now is contacting your internet service provider because there are some settings in your router where Teredo is being blocked.
