How do I fix unable to connect to world

If you're struggling to connect to a Minecraft: Bedrock Edition server, there are a few things you can try:

Restart your device.

Check to see if the server is down using downdetector.com.

If you're using a firewall, try allowing Minecraft through it.

might change the alt port if you are so they are different

It sounds like ot would most likely be a server issue.

I have been getting this issue ever since the Village and Pillage update has come out.

I just want to play with my friend, but we can't.

We are both on Xbox One, NAT is open, appearing online, no restrictions, both adults, but have no clue what is wrong. Have re-installed and installed, unrolled from beta and re-enrolled but still nothing works.

We actually managed to load into each other's worlds today for about 5 minutes before it crashed and the error "unable to connect" continued.

If this isn't fixed anytime soon, then I'm done with this game until they fix this issue.
